A Welcome Speech

Welcome to Beijing !

My name is Li Mei and I've been working for China International Travel Service,also known as CITS,for 8 years. I will be your local guide for the next few days while you are here in Beijing. On behalf of my travel agency,I'd like to extend our warm welcome to all of you,our distinguished guests from the other side of the Pacific.

This is our driver,Mr. Wang. He has been a driver for more than 16 years,doubled my time working as a tour guide. You will be using the same bus during your stay in Beijing. So please jot down the plate number for your future convenience:12345. Fall is the peak season in Beijing,and everywhere you go you will see a lot of tour buses,If you remember the license plate number,it will be much easier to find the right bus and you will never get lost.

During your stay in Beijing we will climb the Great Wall,visit the Ming Tombs,and have some fun in the Temple of Heaven. We will also go to visit Beijing's hutongs,part of old Beijing,taste the Beijing duck,and take some pictures in Tian'anmen Square,the largest city square in the world.
