摘 要:研究38CrSi 平衡肘断裂失效原因。方法是通过化学成分分析、力学性能分析、断口扫描分析、显微组织分析及硬度分析等测试手段,对38CrSi 平衡肘的断裂模式及失效原因进行分析。结果表明,平衡肘失效件原始材料符合制造要求,未发现过量杂质或缺陷,平衡肘的断裂类型为疲劳断裂,其表面硬度、芯部硬度、屈服强度、抗拉强度均未达到技术要求。热套过程中温度过高,保温时间过长,使高频淬火马氏体出现了中温转变,表面硬度下降,疲劳强度降低,同时在冷却过程中,由于冷却速度不够,芯部铁素体量偏多,导致试件力学性能降低,需适当调整热处理工艺提高试件可靠性

Crack failure analysis of 38CrSi steel balance elbow

Abstract:Objective to investigate the fracture reasons of 38CrSi balance elbow.The methods are the fracture modes and the failure reasons are analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis,mechanical performance a⁃nalysis,SEM analysis,microstructure analysis and hardness analysis.Results show that the original material of the balance elbow meets the manufacturing requirements.No excessive impurities or defects are found.The fracture type is fatigue fracture.Its surface hardness,core hardness,yield strength and tensile strength all fail to meet the techni⁃cal requirements.Conclusions In the process of heat preservation,the temperature is too high,and the time is too long.Mid-temperature changes in the high frequency quenching martensite appeared.Surface hardness and fatigue strength are reduced.In the cooling process,because the cooling speed is not enough,excessive ferrite content leads to the decrease of mechanical properties.Appropriate adjustments of heat treatment process can improve reliability of the specimen.
